We give Israel unprecedented access to facets of our government and electoral systems, enabling their overt influence over our foreign policy. Like any competent intel service, they take advantage of that access to further Israel’s agenda, at the expense of Americans. Our entire relationship with Israel must be redefined—immediately. We need to be clear-eyed going forward and should treat them like a foreign country with different objectives than ours, because they are.

Not an exact moment, but their behavior following the Hamas 10/7/23 attack on Israel has been unacceptable to me. It got me seriously considering leaving the party due to rampant antisemitism. Their embrace of Zohran Mamdani was the straw that broke the camel's back. After 40 years of being a registered Democrat, I am now officially an Independent.

This is an incredibly fucked-up thing to ask of either partner. No gay man will be truly fulfilled living a pretend-straight life, and no woman will be satisfied with a husband who doesn't actually have romantic feelings for her.

Same sex attraction is no excuse. You still need it. Also, no one should attempt marriage without total honesty. No hiding the things you struggle with. No trying to pretend they aren’t there. Find the right person and tell them, “Look, I’ve struggled with this my entire life. But my deepest desire is to be a mother/father and raise an eternal family with someone I love. I will need your help, but this is far more important to me than these sexual feelings I’ve experienced.” If you’re ready to communicate in this way, you are ready to start a family, no matter your “sexual orientation.” Don’t let anyone make you think you are barred from that opportunity.

@raslebol2026 Totally inaccurate. It is the Palestinian leadership that has rejected ALL 2 state peace deals that have been offered and accepted by Israel. Of course now after 10/7, Israel will no longer be so flexible. The Palestinians have agency and they choose war.

@PalestinaVence Palestinians who live in Israel aka Israeli Arabs are full citizens with equal rights. Palestinians in Gaza are governed by Hamas. They get their rights, or lack thereof, from Hamas, not Israel. Palestinians in the West Bank are governed by the Palestinian Authority.
