@CensoredHumans Do you take pride in that? That your country has a reputation for being complete savages to their prisoners?
It really isn't the brag you think it is.

Do the MAGA people consider this based? Or is it finally settling in?

TRUMP: "If we don't do it, Russia or China will take over Greenland, and we're not going to have Russia or China as a neighbor. Okay?" "I would like to make a deal the easy way. But if we don't do it the easy way, we're going to do it the hard way." "I'm a fan of Denmark...but, you know, the fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn't mean that they own the land." "NATO's got to understand that. I'm all for NATO. I saved NATO. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have a NATO right now."

@PostWeirdShit @MJTruthUltra Shouting at innocent kids is unacceptable yeah. Not their fault their father is unable to introspect.
English

@80smullet @MJTruthUltra So no problem with grown adults screaming at 5 year olds that aren't doing anything?

Vice President JD Vance:
When I took my Kids to Disneyworld, individuals were shouting Horrible things at my small Children
“You should disown your dad you little shit”, one middle aged woman yelled at my 5 year old.
“Tell the secret service to protect the constitution, not your father.” Screamed another…
“While our side of the isle certainly has its crazies, It is a statistical FACT that most of the lunatics in American politics today are proud members of the far left.”

@KerryMac62657 @RasmusJarlov Politics is part of war. If your strategy collapses without perfect political conditions, that’s still failure. Sorry.
Vietnam was the most purely American war of the modern age, and you lost it. Somehow, the ones fought with Western coalitions succeeded. Explain that.
English

Vietnam was a political, not military defeat . These were the Rules of Engagement for US troops in Vietnam:
1. Positive identification required — Troops had to visually confirm hostile intent or actions before engaging (e.g., return fire only after being fired upon, or wait for SAM sites to launch missiles).
2. Geographic and target restrictions — No attacks on certain areas (e.g., North Vietnamese airfields, ports like Haiphong, or buffers near China). Pursuit of enemy forces across borders into Cambodia or Laos was generally prohibited (except in limited secret operations or the 1970 Cambodian Incursion) allowing sanctuaries for North Vietnamese/Viet Cong forces.
3. Free-fire zones — Virtually non-existent and required evacuation of civilians first.
4. Protection of property/civilians — Examples include restrictions on damaging economic assets or rules requiring clearance for artillery/air strikes near populated areas.
5. Micromanagement from Washington — President Johnson and civilian leaders tightly controlled bombing campaigns like Operation Rolling Thunder, selecting targets personally to limit escalation.
Vietnam was lost in DC, not in Vietnam.
Also, we had allies in Vietnam: Australia, South Korea, Thailand, New Zealand and the Philippines. Their ROE were equally ridiculous and guaranteed a loss.
English

@KerryMac62657 @RasmusJarlov Yeah man, America has always done great on its own. Vietnam really proves the point.
Wild take from an ex-military officer.
English

America doesn't need allies, and as a retired American military officer who worked directly with our European "allies," I can say that they were, with very few exceptions, unprofessional, poorly-trained and had little grasp of military doctrine and tactics. IOW, they were in the way and a hindrance to the mission.
