Thought the pic posted today would work great for an old school diy punk concert poster, so armed w a sharpie, scissors, tape & photocopier I did a quick one (should've put "billions presents" or something up top so it isn't as empty). No photoshop or AI just old school tools 🤟

@flowerkyutie Thank you! I've made hundreds of posters like this in my life so I've been gifted w some speed although this isn't perfect. I love this style too! Kind of grungy & definitely human. I would love to make more for him & Infinite

@namubase I'm not an expert, I'm pretty sure you can petition for the P-1B as a group which significantly helps with costs but the rates are high enough that a lot of smaller acts have canceled tours due to the cost (plus those who had visa issues had to cancel)

@namubase If they got in as a "small" business then the filing fee is only like $510 instead of $1,015. It would be the same visa for them & their support. They could always not apply unless their tour is scheduled over a year from application to avoid the premium processing.

I've said this before and I'll keep banging this drum ... charging a touring performer 20% commission on their merch sales when they man the stall themselves with their own card machine is morally indefensible. Plenty of venues don't do this. It's not industry standard. It's grasping and greedy.

If you know you're gonna get dragged & insulted for sharing your honest opinion, you're less likely to engage w it. Coz as humans we want to share w others. Outside looking in, those people don't look like they're fun to be around, so why be a part of it?

The thing is fans like this don't realize most people outside the bubble don't care all that much what a critic says. They'll check out an album sometimes coz of a mid review. But THIS turns people away, coz it doesn't facilitate an open environment to share honest thoughts.
