If @SuperRugby wants their fantasy offering to be taken seriously, this stuff needs to get A LOT better.

@NewYorkNixon @SuperRugby Georgia and Alex from the Legend of Marty Banks were all over this and do a far better job than the @SuperRugby social media team who have only posted two things all day. 😴😴

@7NewsSydney We need Demand to decrease. How does Fuel Tax cuts achieve that?
English

A month into the war in Iran and we're all paying the price, mostly at the fuel pump.
State leaders have rallied, trying to get on the same page before an emergency national cabinet meeting on Monday.
Some are pushing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for fuel tax cuts, while others simply want better communication. #auspol

@RusselNorman Will Russel drive the bus for free?
Will Russel pay the diesel bill out of his own pocket? Or will he continue to reach into other people pockets to fund his lifestyle as he has done for his entire adult life.

Free public transport is exactly what we should do in NZ. It would actually reduce fuel use and give many people cheap transport options

English

The Victorian government has announced that public transport will be free statewide throughout April.
The initiative comes as fuel prices continue to climb amid supply disruptions in the Middle East.
"This is a temporary measure to help with the cost of living. It will take pressure off the pump and help you save," Premier Jacinta Allan said.
All metropolitan and V/Line services will be free from March 31 until the end of April.

@IrishAotearoan @chrisluxonmp Are you prepared to lock in a date and then be held accountable for your statement that food and water will become unavailable
English

When Covid happened we knew we could still get food and water. @chrisluxonmp & the govt know we cannot guarantee food and water

@JonesVincentt @Sportsfreakconz Mobil Manurewa $3.349. What is your point?
English

@CathKakariki @tutugd @NicolaWillisMP Why don’t you ask the outlets then instead of just scaremongering. It is not uncommon for this to happen due to high demand surges, such as when retailers offer discounts.
English

@NicolaWillisMP today you said we have enough fuel on hand.
Can you please explain why New World and Pak n Save are out of 91, and Diesel??🤔
English

@HendoWest Who is paying for it? You? Why does it need to be subsidised? We don’t even have the capacity to be subsiding it.

@PronouncedHare @aniobrien Know of one example where parents and 2 kids went back to the UK ditching their special needs kid here in a care home.

Great reporting with just a few small wrinkles:
First, the family arrived on time-limited visitor visas, so it’s not clear why they think they’re entitled to stay here permanently.
Second, the minister didn’t “tell them to leave”. The law requires that. He simply declined to give them special treatment.
Third, we’re told “no reason was given” for declining special treatment, then the rest of the article is spent confidently imputing a reason.
Other than that, great journalism. No notes.
