In my opinion, Mitch Keller is not hurt and was placed on the IL to create roster flexibility and save face for his performance this season. Feels like the Pirates are stuck with him the next two seasons but I wouldn’t be shocked if they find a taker for him. Maybe the latter is just wishful thinking

I’m not a big baseball fan but since living here I’m a half ass Cubs fan. I do listen to the analysts though and if there is one guy I trust as to his opinion it’s Speigs. He does his homework and knows baseball

See this is the shit that really annoys me. BC takes this bum off the waiver wire, uses him in numerous games(some were close)and then just DFA's him lol. This has been a constant theme for so long, use awful pitchers in big games, then DFA them. How about NOT EVEN SIGNING THEM?

Lazy field maintenance is becoming the norm.
Instead of fixing mounds, we’re covering them with torn mats that slide, wrinkle, and eliminate the pitching rubber altogether.
Pitchers deserve a consistent, safe landing area, not a tripping hazard.
Stop cutting corners.
