Sad news about Ray Reardon, class player and a master of the mind. His story about Eddie Charlton and how he got in his head in the decider of the 1975 World Final is the stuff of legend. Embraced the changing of the guard and made himself a household name. May he rest in peace. Legend.

Bit odd how the WST works. Mark King unable to play for 19 months for an allegation of match fixing. Michael White allowed to play whilst being charged and after being found guilty of a violent crime. It's an actual disgrace in fairness.

Have you ever cried over the snooker, just out of curiosity? A lot of folk talk about getting emotional and such, but I've never had it happen, personally, either watching live or on a screen, and it feels like I might be in the minority. I'm relatively stoic, I guess, and probably just not wired that way, though.
