@BlueDeathValley The route is not a slant, it’s a option route. Meaning, when I get to my depth, I have the option to go in or out. It was assumed I was going in immediately, making it seem as if it was a slant, but that’s not what it is or how I was coached on the route being ran.

If I'm Coach Marsh I'm telling Coach Poole that his guys have got to be more efficient with getting to their spot on time. My QB is standing in the pocket ready to pull the trigger, but all he sees is the back of your WR's head.

Little things. Here's an example of a turnover just because the WR didn't marry his route to the QB's drop. Fomby takes a quick 2-step & is waiting to throw the slant but the WR takes too long to win inside leverage on the DB, forcing Fomby to hold the ball longer & fumble.
