This past weekend, our @8Nrps - Grimsby, Lincoln, West Lincoln officers stopped an unsafe truck/trailer driving through Grimsby with an insecure load, defective tires, defective brakes, no trailer lights, insecure load, over weight. The driver was charged accordingly.

Today an over height truck struck 2 hydro wires in Beamsville & 2 in Grimsby. Officers spent several hours closing roads for safety. Uniform officer with CVSA accreditation, charged the driver for Over Height Vehicle.

8 District uniform members are dedicated to keeping our roads safe. Three trucks were stopped on Park Road South, Grimsby for disobeying road signs, charges were laid accordingly.

8 District uniform members on routine patrol near King St and Academy St, Beamsville discovered a vehicle equipped with muffler diverter flaps which create bangs & loud exhaust. These belong on the track, not on our community roadways. Multiple charges laid.

Thank you for your continued patience during the temporary closure at Ontario St and Greenlane. Community and crew safety are top priority. The delayed reopening will ensure work is completed safely and the road remains safe. Here’s the construction site from a bird’s eye view.
