@ciw1973 Also, just anecdotal stuff, but a lot of the retro game folks seem to be gen x or elder milllenials with righ4 leaning politics, and Bluesky seems less about that. Maybe I'm wrong but it's the feeling I get.

It's crazy to think about the fact that 3 million LESS people voted for Trump this time, and he won Battling voter apathy, and not pulling in undecided (meaning they WILL)l vote for someone) voters is really the key in modern US elections.

@jamesster445 Yeah, I get that, but there are far reaching consequences - like the shape of the Supreme Court for the next 40+ years as well as possible environmental impacts

@8bit_Snazzy Apathy. I'll be upfront and say that I dont like either candidate, and from everyone I talked to IRL, they felt the same.

I'm not going to buy into any weird conspiracies - would love to know why voter turnout was so bad though
