If you don’t believe in miracles and have been following my wife’s journey/fight with stage 4 cancer, please read this… Yesterday, we went in for her first PET scan (the scan that lights up anywhere where cancer is active in the body) since her initial one back in November. The original scan lit up like a Christmas tree with spots in her lungs, liver, back, pelvis and thigh, classified as stage 4 adenocarcinoma that had spread even to the brain. Needless to say, the initial prognosis is not good regardless of the person with that advanced cancer. Most people will hear “you have 2-3 years left to live” Even though that’s exactly what we were told, we didn’t let it phase us, bc it’s just an opinion and not fact. We changed our diets (I use our in these sentences bc I changed everything to match her so we could fight as a team), cut out sugar and carbs almost completely, did our research into the holistic side of treatments available and went full on battle mode against the cancer that was trying to take something beautiful and turn it into negative. We asked for prayers from anyone and everyone bc God is bigger than cancer. He has the ability to heal us without any treatments at all. He made the lame walk and the blind see. So, we knew He could heal her if that was in His plan. We prayed hard, even though at times it seemed unfair for her to be going through this. She was put on 3 different chemo regimens before they found the primary origin of the cancer. Once they found that, she was put on a targeted treatment with immunotherapy. We received the results of her PET scan yesterday but weren’t able to see our oncologist until this morning. And she confirmed…… THERE IS NO ACTIVE CANCER in her entire body!!! We are in shock! GOD IS GREAT!!! We will continue treatments as cancer can come back quick, but for today, we thank each and every one of you that prayed for us, reached out, added her to your churches prayer list and just checked in on us. No words could ever express how thankful we are for each and every one of you. We are in tears, but they are tears of joy.. Thank you 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ Cancer didn’t win.

It’s wifey’s fight against stage 4 cancer update time!! Round #6 of chemo in the books. Two more rounds to go. The countdown is real now. Today was extra special because her 7th grade best friend came to sit with her through treatment. Something about having people who’ve known you since the awkward middle-school years sitting beside you during moments like this… it hits different. (She even brought their middle school yearbooks 😂 They laughed so hard reminiscing, I think even the surrounding patients took joy in their laughter 🫶) Life is strange like that. The same people who saw you with braces and bad haircuts are now the ones cheering you through the toughest fights. Crazy to think in all their years as friends they’ve never had even one fight! They just have always given each other grace for their schedules and always know that no matter how much time passes they will always show up for each other. 💗 Now for the wild science part. ⭐️Her CA-19-9 tumor marker dropped like a mortgage rate chart during Covid. We’re talking 3,900 → 48.7. That is a massive drop. 🙌🏽 Translation in normal human language: the treatment is doing its job, the prayers are working, all the extra things we’ve added to her protocol that aren’t typical oncology recommendations are working, and her body is responding! She is feeling really good overall. A little anemic, so next week we’ll do an iron infusion to get her levels back where they should be. We also knocked out a couple other big steps today: ⭐️Empower genetic testing – this checks if she is a carrier for certain cancer genes. With cancer under 50 showing up on both sides of her family, this could allow our kids to get early screenings and prevention if needed. Knowledge is power. If you’d like more information on what testing you can get done for your own family DM me and I’ll share the specifics. ❤️ ⭐️G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase) Why: Very high vitamin C doses can cause red blood cells to break down (hemolysis) in people with low G6PD. Checking levels so she can start high-dose Vitamin C infusions, which have shown promising support for cancer patients. ⭐️Next step: dental work on the 23rd so she can get cleared for the bone-strengthening shots. This will prevent bone cancer spread as well as protect her bones from fractures. Another huge unexpected cost that has no ability to wait and mentally probably more taxing on her anxiety than even chemo. (No one LOVES dental work let’s be honest!) PET scan will also show if she is a candidate to go under anesthesia with the mass still pressing on her vocal cords. If not, we know God will carry her through this part as well. So overall… huge progress. The road has twists, delays, and a few pit stops, but the direction is forward. Grateful for good friends, good doctors, good science… and a body that keeps showing up to fight. Two more rounds. Let’s finish this. 💪🏼🧬

Whats the general ruling on selling raw cards? I pulled something nice but it's clearly cooked. Centering terrible. Nicks on the edges. It'd be lucky to get an 8 grade. Is it normal just to list at raw market or are you supposed to be discounting it? Don't wanna be a dick.
