@lennyb1983 Same with cup run in 20/21 too. I'd never swap a cup run though. Looking back a bigger 'what if' is the yr we finished 4th. If Aldo hadn't been injured for 2 mths/Tommy Coyne had worked out. We lost 13 games in 92/93 but 8 of them (and 2 draws) came in the 18 games Aldo was out!

I always said if it wasnt for the cup run we'd of gone up in 94. It wasnt the distraction being in it, it was the slump that followed Picked up again in April but Palace/Forest had already romped home by then The less said about the April collapse the year later the better 😢
