The Tamahi VMS project 40km from Chilliwack, BC. New logging roads are being cut through a property previously explored by Cominco and Falconbridge Copper. The road cuts 400m wide siliceous, scilicified unit with mineralization.

@PeterNBell@JodyDahrouge@jimrockfordatSH Mclaughlin Ridge Formation, felsic volcanics. Here we see a scilicified schist contacting chlorite schist. Theres two quite large zones in a 100m wide area with at least 10-20m widths of massive sulphides and quartz/sulphides that we have exposed so far. Kuroko type VMS.
@linda77sa@CHEK_News The idea is removal of waste rock, thats currently polluting nearby rivers for the last century. Very different than a new mine. This would remove harmful metals leaching into the creeks and allow for proper reclamation anyone against this is against the environment.

@CHEK_News Hey old growth protestors!! You cry about losing trees that grow back, but why aren’t you blocking highways and such over a mine that permanently destroys the landbase???
@SharonR_MECFS@CHEK_News Water currently flows through the mine workings accross the dumps and down to the Chemainus River. This would help prevent that.
