مولانا مودودی کی صاحبزادی حمیرہ مودودی نے اپنی کتاب شجر ہائے سایہ دار میں پاکستان ائیرفورس کے دو اسکوارڈن لیڈرز کی سید مودودی کو اپنے خواب کی تفصیل بیان کی۔ وہ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ : 1978، میں جدہ سے گرمیوں کی تعطیلات کے سلسلے میں لاہور آئی ہوئی تھی کہ ایک عجیب واقعہ پیش آیا۔ ہوا یوں کہ ایک روز مغرب کے بعد پاکستان ایئر فورس کے دو اسکواڈرن لیڈر سرگودھا سے ابا جان سے ملنے آئے۔ ابا جان دفتر میں بیٹھے کام کر رہے تھے، وہیں انھیں بلوالیا. ان میں سے ایک صاحب جو دیکھنے میں بڑے مضطرب نظر آ رہے تھے۔ بتانے لگے کہ میں نے ایک خواب دیکھا ہے اور جب سے دیکھا ہے میں اس قدر بے چین اور بے کل ہوں کہ نہ مجھے نیند آتی ہے، نہ بھوک لگتی ہے اور نہ میں کسی کام کو دل جمعی سے کر سکتا ہوں ۔ وہ خواب یہ ہے کہ "میں مدینے گیا ہوں، تو دیکھتا ہوں کہ مدینہ منورہ تو پورے کا پورا بم باری سے تباہ ہو چکا ہے۔ نہ مسجد ہے نہ گنبد خضرا ہے، نہ کوئی گھر اور عمارت سلامت ہے۔ اینٹ سے اینٹ بج چکی ہے۔ جب میں اس مقام پر آتا ہوں جہاں روضہ مبارک ہے۔ تو دیکھتا ہوں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کچی قبر کے باہر کھڑے نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں۔ کہیں قریب ہی سے بہت سے لوگوں کی باتیں کرنے کی آواز آتی ہے۔ میں ادھر دیکھتا ہوں تو ایک تہہ خانے میں سیڑھیاں اترتی نظر آتی ہیں۔ میں فورا نیچے تہہ خانے میں چلا جاتا ہوں۔ ابھی آدھی سیڑھیاں ہی اترا تھا کہ دیکھتا ہوں، چھ سات یہودی صرف جانگیے پہنے، بڑے بڑے چھرے ہاتھوں میں لیے انسانی لاشوں کے ٹکڑے کر کر کے ڈھیر لگا رہے ہیں اور دیواروں کے ساتھ بے شمار انسانی لاشیں لٹکی ہوئی ہیں۔ میں یہ منظر دیکھ کر الٹے پاؤں اوپر کی طرف بھاگتا ہوں کہ یہ تو میرے بھی ٹکڑے کر ڈالیں گے۔ اوپر پہنچ کر دیکھتا ہوں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم التحیات پڑھ کر سلام پھیر رہے ہیں۔۔ سلام پھیر کر میری طرف دیکھ کر آپ فرماتے ہیں : فکر نہ کرو، یہ گوشت بکے گا نہیں! اور پھر میری آنکھ کھل گئی۔ بس مولانا ، جب سے میں نے یہ خواب دیکھا ہے، روز بروز میری بے کلی میں اضافہ ہوتا جا رہا ہے؟ آپ بتائیے ، اس خواب کی تعبیر کیا ہے"؟ اگر چہ ابا جان ، خوابوں کی دنیا سے تعلق نہیں رکھتے تھے ، اور نہ خوابوں کی تعبیر سے نتائج اخذ کرنے کے طرف دار تھے ۔ وہ حقائق کی دنیا اور منطقی اصولوں کو ایمان کے تابع لاکر زندگی بسر کرنے کی دعوت دیتے تھے۔ لیکن اسکے باوجود یہ خواب سن کر ابا جان خود حیران ہوتے جا رہے تھے کہ ایسا خواب تو بڑے بڑے ولیوں کو بھی دیکھنا نصیب نہیں ہوتا مگر یہ اس داڑھی منڈے نوجوان ہوا باز کو نظر آیا ہے۔ کسی آستانہ عالیہ کے سجادہ نشین، کسی فقیہ مصلحت اور کسی حامل جبہ و دستار کو نہیں بلکہ ستاروں پر کمند ڈالنے والے فضائیہ کے مجاہد کو دکھائی دیا ہے، جس کا ایک مطلب یہ ہے کہ مستقبل میں خانقاہوں کے مجاوروں اور حجروں کے باسیوں کے بجائے ، رسم شبیری ادا کرنے والے ایسے نوجوان ہی ملت بیضا کی قیادت کریں گے اور یہی لوگ حرمین الشریفین کی حفاظت و مدافعت کی ذمے داری نبھائیں گے۔ ابا جان نے اُن نوجوان جنگی ہوا بازوں سے کہا: رسول کریم کی حدیث مبارکہ ہے کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ نے روایت کیا ہے. "جب جنگوں پر جنگیں ہوں گی ، تو اللہ ، غیر عرب اقوام میں سے ایک قوم کو اٹھا کر کھڑا کرے گا۔ وہ شہواری میں عربوں سے بہتر اور اسلحے میں ان سے برتر ہوں گے۔ ان کے ذریعے اللہ اپنے دین کی مدد کرے گا" ۔ پھر کہا: یہ خواب اس حدیث کی طرف بھی اشارہ کر رہا ہے، جو حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو سے مروی ہے: آخر زمانے میں ایسے لوگ آئیں گے جو پرندوں کی طرح تیز رفتار اور درندوں کی طرح ظالم ہوں گے ( مشکوۃ ۔ یعنی آج ہمیں اس کا یہی مطلب سمجھ میں آتا ہے کہ جنگی ہوائی جہازوں پر سوار ہو کر اپنے ملک سے اڑیں گے بڑی بے رحمی سے اپنے مخالفوں اور مخلوق خدا کو تباہ و برباد کرتے جائیں گے، اسی طرح حدیث دجال سنا کر کہا کہ آپ کا خواب بظاہر اس بات کی طرف بھی اشارہ کرتا ہے کہ آئندہ کے معرکوں میں ایئر فورس فیصلہ کن کردار ادا کرے گی، اس لیے اللہ نے یہ خواب ایک جنگی پائلٹ کو دکھایا ہے۔ ایک حدیث کے مطابق حضرت عیسٰی کے نزول کے بعد انھی علاقوں سے فوج ان کی مدد کو پہنچے گی جو غیر عرب ہوں گے، اور اسلحہ وفن سپہ گری میں عربوں سے افضل ہوں گے۔ یہ تعبیر سننے کے بعد جب وہ پائلٹ پر سکون ہو کر جانے کے لیے اٹھے تو بیماری اور سخت نقاہت کے باوجود، ابا جان نے کھڑے ہو کر ان سے الوداعی مصافحہ کیا ، اور اصرار کر کے انھیں اپنے کمرے کے دروازے تک رخصت کرنے آئے اور کہا: چونکہ آپ نے خواب میں نبی کریم کی زیارت کی ہے، اس لیے آپ تکریم کے لائق ہیں۔ اب آپ اپنی جو بے چینی اور بے کلی مجھے دے کر جارہے ہیں، نہ جانے میں کب تک اس کیفیت میں مبتلا رہوں گا۔
