𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿- 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 After an illustrious intercounty career, the Shercock club man, Killian Clarke has decided to call time on his Cavan Career. The Shercock player informed the county board of his decision this week. Killian made his senior championship debut against Donegal in 2012, his senior National league debut against Antrim the following year 2013 and his McKenna Cup debut against Down in 2015. In total Killian made 134 appearances for the Cavan seniors scoring 2-25 (31pts) in the process. Killian's tenure yielded significant silverware, most notably the 2020 Senior Ulster Championship - Cavan's first provincial title in 23 years. The progression from minor (2011) through under-21 success to senior championship glory in 2020 shows remarkable longevity and development. Career Summary: • Senior Ulster Championship 2020 • Under 21 Ulster Championship 2012,2013,2014 • Ulster Minor championship 2011 • National League titles 2023 (Division 3), 2022 (Division 4) • Under 21 Hastings Cup 2012 • Captained the Cavan Senior Football team in 2017 • Club Bréifne Cavan County Player of year in 2017 • Represented and won a Railway cup with Ulster in 2016 • International Rules panel (2015) at home • International Rules Team (2017) away in Australia • All-star nomination in 2013 • Ulster All-Star 2013,2020 • Won a Tailteann Cup All-Star in 2022. All in Cavan GAA County Board wish Killian the very best for the future and thank him sincerely for his dedication and commitment to Cavan GAA over the years. No one is thinking of the Kilmacud players. The hatred of the Shane Walsh transfer is fuelling the mob. The heartbreak of last year, the dignity they showed in defeat, celebrated the win for 3 days only for Glen to object on Tuesday night at 11pm. What a mess by the GAA & Glen
