@EldrichOfVoid Maintaining a stable mindset over an extended period is no less difficult than improving one's drawing skills—especially when posting artwork on platforms that rely on algorithmic recommendations.

@930604V Wow, I feel seen.. Esp number 3, because once I start posting WIP online, I lose interest in finishing artwork 😭like... the frustration to finish gets worse!!

@oofman18411662 I gave it a try as well. At first, I wondered what the point was—wasn't it just a waste of time? But it wasn't until I actually tried it that I realized it is the lowest-cost method of practice available; it serves as a constant reminder of a specific spatial mindset.

@930604V Early on, I took something called the 250 box challenge- drawing 250 boxes in different sizes, angles, and foreshortenings.
It was a slog, and pretty boring , but when I finished, I looked back at my drawings before starting, and the quality difference was vast.

@oofman18411662 Perhaps it is fueled by a sense of aversion. After finishing a day's work—having had my fill of the grind—I feel an intense urge: the need to retreat into my own world.
