Baffles me why the owners refused to sell. There were at least three chaps with very deep pockets - two of them very well known - who bid to save City Press but were all turned down for some weird reasons.
Now our colleagues are going to lose their livelihoods, not because there were no other options, but because they simply refused to sell the brand to save their jobs. Really sad.
