LA was next level dangerous in the 90s and early 2000s. People forget how bad it really was. LA is safer now than it’s ever been. The only reason people feel otherwise is cause homeless people are more visible. That’s literally it.

LA when I was a kid was considerably more dangerous, they used to say don’t be at echo park lake past dark, now there’s swan boats, people used to be jumped into gangs on our front lawn, kids in my class died in drive by’s, if anything LA got too safe and people lost perspective

His lawyer is going to have a hard time explaining how this is a self defense case considering these tweets exist. I’m also searching for the most damaging tweet where he word-for-word plans to shoot a Black person and be let off on self defense.

Guys… the 1st Amendment only protects you from the government silencing or persecuting you for your speech. If you go out and harass people for clicks, you open yourself to a host of consequences that have nothing to do with the 1A nor the government. Doing so also throws self defense out the window, as you initiated the engagement. This is common sense. If this makes you angry, you are probably stupid.
