If Atleti invest again in the summer, I think they’re going to at least mount a title challenge. Lots of depth + Lookman, who’s clearly an X factor. Quite the foundation.

The same overthinking that everyone criticised Pep for against Madrid is what won City the final today against Arsenal. Nico O’Reilly’s left back performance and the brace. It’s the same brain making decisions with the same frameworks and processes. Results-based conclusions miss the point because variables come into play.
