Our group at University was inspired by @beeonaposy's great and insightful graph on how the allocation of time changed when a woman has a baby. We decided to use @flowingdata's tutorials to animate it using D3.JS and here is the result!

The data does not contain this aspect, but we made sure that the random redistribution of dots is done in a way that keeps the proportion of dots accurately for the various activities. But I am actually considering your approach and will try it out! Thank you!

@97khanafer @flowingdata @beeonaposy Nice! Instead of a ‘random’ redistribution of dots coming from everywhere, did you consider to distribute just the dots for deltas? So, additional time for a category comes from another category with less time. Or does the data set not contain that aspect?
