Veiled Muslim women are the most targeted and vulnerable to these racists
Mukhtar@I_amMukhtar
This is vile, but because it’s targeted at Muslims, the Met Police don’t care. Imagine if a pro-Palestine march had someone on stage mocking Orthodox Jewish women.

Full statement from the Supreme Court regarding the sighting of the Dhul Hijjah crescent today.
The Supreme Court has called upon all Muslims across the Kingdom to look out for the sighting of the crescent moon of the month of Dhul Hijjah on the evening of Sunday, the 30th of Dhu al-Qa‘dah according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to the 29th of Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1447 AH according to the Supreme Court’s ruling — which falls on 17 May 2026.
The statement issued by the Supreme Court reads as follows:
> “All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
In light of the Supreme Court’s ruling no. (206/H) dated 29/10/1447 AH, which stated that Saturday, 1/11/1447 AH according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to 18/4/2026, completed the month of Shawwal as thirty days, and that Sunday, 2/11/1447 AH according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to 19/4/2026, was the first day of Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1447 AH;
The Supreme Court calls upon all Muslims across the Kingdom to look out for the sighting of the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah on the evening of Sunday, the 30th of Dhu al-Qa‘dah according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to the 29th of Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1447 AH according to the Supreme Court’s ruling — which falls on 17/5/2026.
The Supreme Court requests that anyone who sights the crescent with the naked eye or through binoculars report to the nearest court and register their testimony there, or contact the nearest centre for assistance in reaching the nearest court.
The Supreme Court also encourages those who are able to participate in moon sighting to give this matter due attention, join the committees established in the various regions for this purpose, and seek reward and blessing through their participation, as it is part of cooperating upon righteousness and piety and serves the benefit of all Muslims.
And Allah is the Granter of success. May Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.”
