Ha! I’ve just been refused entry onto a plane from Stansted to Bologna because my passport issue date is March 2016. The expiry date is August 2026 but the rule is 10 years from issue date. Another Brexit benefit. Apparently. Go home now.

@stuegs @LNallalingham It depends on what criteria are used for these surveys. There was one which showed the top 300 cities. London didn't feature at all. Stats are wonderful things when you look at them from different angles.

This is misleading. Yes, some categories like sexual offences and drug offences have risen recently but you’re cherry picking. Overall crime trends in London are mixed, not just up. Homicide has fallen in recent years Gun crime is down Some violent crime measures have improved Increases in sexual offences are partly due to better reporting Your 750k vs 910k comparison is also flawed. London’s population has grown and crime recording is far more comprehensive now, so totals aren’t like for like. London is not unique with this, similar trends have happened across England & Wales. You can criticise Khan’s record, but presenting selective stats as just facts is exactly the kind of misinformation you’re accusing others of. Your a pathetic fraud attacking your own country and city because you don't like the religion of the London mayor

The results that I have seen on the Internet suggest that, although, not the unsafest, they are not in the top 5 safest. As for safest in the world. Another check on the Internet shows London not in the top 10.
