9th GWC Braid Scouts

We had 6 cubs and 3 leaders all experiencing their first camp this weekend! The sun came out and we had a great adventure in the Pentlands #iScout

It was organised chaos last night at our annual group photo! Thankfully the rain held off #9thBraid #ScoutGroup

Thank you to Dr Gregor McNeill from RIE who came along and taught our Scouts CPR as part of their Emergency Aid badge. There was some award winning acting alongside impressive CPR!

We had a great evening hosting the Braid District Cub Swimming Gala at the Galleon! Congratulations to 157th Pack for winning the relay and the overall competition! It was a fantastic night. Here are just some of the winners #cubs #swimming @GWC_News

This weekend our Cubs were at District Camp, some of our Scouts met Olympian Tim Baillie and our YLs were flag bearers and piper

Our new Scout of the Year shield has been named in honour of Mr Gordon Ruffle, a former 9th scout who left us a £15,000 legacy
