A2IM has filed additional comments with the US Copyright Office encouraging it to adopt a reduced registration fee for small entities. This option is best suited to independent labels and businesses who are overwhelmingly small businesses for whom cost is the top barrier to registering their work. We're also pushing for long overdue improvements to group registration for music, so independents can affordably protect the volume of recordings they release each year.
