North Texas is hiring Raj Murti as its football general manager, a source confirmed to @TheAthletic.
Murti, 23, will be one of the youngest GMs in college football. He spent the last year at TCU, as assistant director of player personnel. Owen Chandler, who was hired as Northern Iowa’s GM earlier this year, is also 23 and was believed to be the youngest in Division I at the time of his hiring.
Before TCU, Murti spent five years on the personnel staff at Houston, working his way up to assistant director of player personnel.

#TCU signee LB Anthony “Deuce” Williams is part of a great LB class for the Frogs and what a job by LB Coach Ken Wilson. The 6’3, 190 lbs prospect comes from Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas. I would like to think he fits the STUD position in Andy Avalos’s defense. But I think he can play either OLB spot. @A2Williams22 has a lot of tools to work with. He is quick with his hands which helps him beat initial contact at the LOS and has a good motor. Building his frame in the S&C program with Kaz Kazadi will be crucial in his development. A lot of potential for the Shadow Creek product. Will be enrolling early.
