Jonathan Gannon: "I told the players - this is gonna be a little different for them because as we're teaching them things, they're gonna see film of Philadelphia, Arizona, Green Bay ... Alabama, Georgia.' I don't really get caught up in 'This is my playbook, this is what we're gonna run.'
"This is gonna be a new system. This is gonna be the 2026 Green Bay Packers."
Jonathan Gannon asked what appealed to him about the Packers DC job and in his answer, says: “Jordan Love. That was a huge thing to me. I think he’s in the top tier.”
Cam Achord on Trey Smack: "Straight ball accuracy. His ball doesn't move a lot. ... I want the guy who's gonna put it through consistently from 58, 55. You play in Green Bay, you're dealing with the elements."
Jonathan Gannon said he spent 1.5 days in Green Bay while interviewing. Spent a lot of time with LaFleur, Gutekunst & talked with Micah Parsons (who was there rehabbing). Went back home & told his wife "This is where i want to be."
