@Liam_Holman99 Ignorance is no defence. With all the lies and deceit you'd have thought someone who used to practice law would be a little more forensic with the details. He has to go - he's misled parliament and everyone in the UK

No 10's defence tonight is ignorance - they didn't know, nor did Cabinet Secretary at the time, nor head of propriety know, that Mandelson hadn't passed security vetting when he was cleared for job- but there has been intense scrutiny on all of this for MONTHS + opposition parties won't let that wash

@JamesMelville He's a compulsive liar, democracy denier, a self serving traitor, spineless and powerless against his own cabinet allowing them to pursue a ruinous trajectory, increasing living costs for hard working people to pay benefits to those who choose not to work or live here illegally.

▪️He said he would freeze council tax ▪️He said he would lower energy bills ▪️He said he would reduce student tuition fees ▪️He said he would support farmers ▪️He said he would protect pensioners ▪️He said he would support the disabled ▪️He said he would help small businesses ▪️He said he would fix the economy ▪️He said he would compensate WASPI women ▪️He said he would listen to the concerns of forgotten communities ▪️He said he would overhaul the immigration system But instead, he did the opposite. Keir Starmer is the ultimate political snake oil salesman.

Cool for Cats - (I don't reply to direct messages)
@A380Heavy @BasilTheGreat If he had decency, he would resign right away. He had zero tolerance when he obssessively hounded Boris. Starmer is no PM material and he never will be. He lacks understanding of what the country/people need. He enforces his choice of policy onto citizens against our interests.

The German shipbuilder Meyer Werft is planning the World’s first Fully Battery-Powered Cruise Ship The battery-powered ship, designed to carry 2,000 passengers, could operate in the Mediterranean, as the charging infrastructure is expected to be in place there by the time of delivery in 2031. According to current plans, the ship would be 275 meters long, have a gross tonnage of 82,000, and could accommodate 1,856 passengers. This would place it in the mid-range in terms of size. The very largest cruise ships can accommodate more than 4,000 passengers. A battery capable of replacing this amount of energy would need a capacity of 500,000 kilowatt-hours. This corresponds to a weight of 2,500 to 3,000 tons. This calculation takes into account that energy from a battery can be utilized much more efficiently than the energy contained in marine diesel fuel. The major advantage of a cruise ship is that this mass can be stowed with relatively little effort. A supplier for the battery has also already been found: Corvus Energy from Norway is set to build the appropriate battery. The company most recently provided the energy storage system for a ferry. Based on current costs for batteries in electric cars, the price is likely to range from 50 to 100 million euros. Everything will be electrified, including cruise ships.

@HJB_News__ I find this obscene when we can't defend ourselves. We have no missile defence system, we have a navy that can't even deploy a single destroyer and when we do it breaks down, we have to borrow ships off Germany. This money should be spent of procurement for UK forces.

Keir Starmer has announced a further £752 MILLION and 120,000 drones to Ukraine. Rachel Reeves said: “This funding will help deliver the military equipment Ukraine needs as it defends itself against Russia’s unprovoked war. “I am proud that the UK is a leading partner in providing vital support to Ukraine, and we will continue to step up to do more while keeping pressure on Russia.” Meanwhile UK military chiefs have been asked to find £3.5bn in "efficiencies" and other savings this year, even as Sir Keir Starmer says he is readying his armed forces for war, sources have signalled.

@purplealiii @NotFarLeftAtAll My comment WAS very much said tongue in cheek - if Sadiq Khan earned a knighthood then anyone can get one. I don't need you to confirm if something I wrote in gest was said tongue in cheek or not. I'm very happy that child killer Ian Huntley is dead and hope he suffered greatly.

@Christo47585208 @NotFarLeftAtAll I didn't say let him out. I think it's awful, when people have committed absolutely heinous crimes and there is 0% chance they are innocent, that the tax payers, including families of victims, have to continue to fund their upkeep. We need capital punishment for such cases.
