Brice Hawkins scored on a 19-yard touchdown run for Simi Valley to clinch the 44-38 overtime win over Mira Costa in the D6 Championship. Simi Valley came back from a 21-point first half deficit to win tonight’s game. Simi Valley is here. Head coach Jim Benkert (left) has 301 career wins. He’s got the Pioneers in their second CIF final since taking the program over in 2018. SV was in the D10 final in 2019 and went to D2 playoffs in 2021.
