@DestinLegarie We know why Infinite flopped though. It launched without forge, co-op, customs browser, or even a Team Slayer playlist. People showed up at launch but they didn't want to wait 2 years for the bare-bones game to finally be in a shippable state.

Halo Infinite was great imo.
But if that still wasn't "enough" to warrant story follow ups and a continuation for Infinite vs. a Halo 1 remake I'm worried about the future of the franchise.
I have ~456 hours in Infinite. I love the game. I hope Halo Studios can figure it out.

If true its not hard to see why. The movie felt like Avatar 2.5 and even early critic reactions reflected that. So much of Avatar's appeal is from how it pushes the envelope, so I don't really think people were excited by such a safe sequel.
