Why reach out and not actually have a conversation?, I mean you went that far, yes, it was missed at the time, but there was a reply, then it went to single word answers with little intent to actually converse.

Silence!! Nothing matters I guess? Better off staying in my lane and not bother those I care about, guess it’s not mutual!!!

Sometimes expressing how one feels sucks, you get one word answers or meaningless thanks. Like they’re bothered by a compliment or loving jester. Reason to just say f…. it!!! Hope the one you covet has that much in them at all times.
