When I took office, I questioned the Office of Law about the conditions under which downzoning against a speculator’s will would hold up in the courts. I was aware that it had been done to protect a large part of Charles County and wanted to know our options.

This #ThankYouThursday, I want to thank all of the public safety personnel who worked during last week’s 102nd Black-Eyed Susan Stakes and 151st Preakness Stakes, including the @AACoPD, @AACoFD, @AACoSheriff, and @AACo_OEM.

Voters are always encouraged to check their precinct information, polling location assignments, voter registration status, view a sample ballot, and make their plan to vote at elections.maryland.gov.

This error only affects the primary informational booklets, and voter registration data, electronic pollbooks, and election day and mail-in ballots are accurate.

The Maryland State Board of Elections has shared that a printing error led some voters to receive the incorrect party ballot for the upcoming Primary Election.
