This #IWD2026 is a moment for women to rise together with collective determination. Refusing to sit back and watch women’s rights being rolled back. We believe that feminist movements, especially led by young women, are the answer to combatting this global rollback on rights.

Today, women gathered in a peaceful sit-in at the Liberian National Police Headquarters in Monrovia to stand for the many Liberian women killed, abused, or suffering violence in silence. Liberian women presented a petition to the Inspector General calling for swift investigations

Care sustains our homes, our economies, communities. Yet the people who carry the greatest share of this work, women are too often unpaid, undervalued. Until the world fully recognizes that nations are built on the invisible labor of care, we'll continue see injustice.#IWD2026
