खून से लतपथ पंजाब, आज बयानबहादुर अरविंद केजरीवाल से बार बार यही एक सवाल पूछ रहा है! क्यों? अपराधियों को न कोई डर, न कोई खौफ! सरेआम, एक जनप्रतिनिधि को मौत के घाट उतार दिया गया और आप सरकार का भयमुक्त पंजाब केवल अखबार के विज्ञापनों तक ही सिमटकर रह गया। यह केवल एक घटना नहीं, बीते एक साल में पंजाब ने ऐसी कई वारदात देखी हैं। यह पंजाब में सुरक्षा के भाव की खुली हत्या है, यह उस वादे का खून है जो अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पंजाब की जनता से किया था। आज सवाल सिर्फ अपराधियों पर नहीं, उस सरकार पर भी है जो सुरक्षा का सपना दिखाकर सत्ता में आई और अब पंजाब को खून के आंसू रुला रही है।

As soon as the government entered the election year, the Bhagwant Mann government announced in the budget that women would be given this money. The notable part is that no date for the implementation was announced. But the real question is: Why didn’t the minister resign on his own? Is there any sense of moral accountability left, or does action happen only under pressure? Remember last year’s case where a Colonel and his son were assaulted? The court had to intervene, cancel the SIT, and hand over the investigation to the CBI. In that case, an Army officer had the ability to raise his voice before the court, but in this case, who will stand up for the common man? Who will fix accountability? How will a fair investigation be ensured? If the government truly believes in transparency, why not conduct this investigation under the supervision of a sitting or former judge? Otherwise, this too will become just another case, where truth gets buried and accountability is avoided.
