Having Shardul Thakur start ahead of D Chahar makes a lot of sense. Powerplay bowing is not a problem for MI. Boult, Bumrah, Hardik and now AG along with Shardul can easily handle powerplay overs. Its the non-powerplay phase where Shardul gives better options to Hardik.

Some people may trigger here but truth is we are paying avg T20 player Cummins for 18cr, while T20 specialist bowlers like Boult, Hazlewood, Archer,Bhuvi getting 10-12cr.

@WorldofAK2108 Thats the point, there are lot of instances where he could have promoted where our players are shitting Vs pace, which he did not being captain. If he would have, then we would have gone for foriegn bowler than for finishers.. or batters..

@WorldofAK2108 Why do you think we didn’t go for any foreign bowler like hazlewood, Starc, boult in mega auction despite all went for 10-12 range?? Because the foriegn bowler slot is occupied by him.. and he acts like one..if he prefers himself as allrounder he should promote, he never did.

@AAR396 @Harsha_48 It's not abt prime yrs, he did his job fine for Australia in t20is and even bats, checkout 2021 wc stats for reference, even though he didn't take wickets he controlled the score. And you can't compare with starc and hoff because each of them is specialised for different things.

@Harsha_48 @AAR396 Aus didn't give him captaincy in T20 to manage his workload, he plays every test and is their spearhead, that is why he skips t20s and some odis if it's irrelevant. It's not about trust, get your facts right.
