@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso He moved us from 11th to 15 when he came on board just the same situation with Carrick but yet he failed woefully, by far the worst manager in our recent history, who took more than 12 months to win back to back, something that Carrick do effortlessly week in week out.

Kobbie Mainoo would have missed the World Cup and it wouldn't have been because of his ability but because of a coach who is the worst in the history of Manchester United. Can you imagine?

@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso I don't need to asked myself a question with an obvious answer, the damage was already done with Amorim in charge so there is no way U expect Carrick to merge the gap despite taken most point of any manager for the past 4 months. Amorim was in charge of 20 games.

@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso Competing for the league next season maybe not be guaranteed however this season could have be our best chance because the teams U have at the top aren't exceptional and we are playing once in a week no domestic cup no European cup to compete for.

@RidwanuLlah U are right Carrick got some Ole vibes, but his line up is not bias. Ole had a bias approach towards time selection even if player was out of form he'd keep playing him ahead of the next person that also contributed to his down fall at united aside the board failure.

Carrick and Ole are very similar coaches. Ole made his own mistakes but overall, we let him down by not building a proper team for him. We shouldn’t make the same mistake with Carrick. I think he will do a great job if supported. I don trust the Board to employ a better Manager than him.

@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso Well proceeding of events has prove u and your Amorim wrong about Maino, the only mistake united made was not sacking Amorim on time we could be up there drag the league with Arsenal and city now base on our form since his departure.

@RealNehis @YusufAsunmogejo @PeterObi @_ffen That's politics my friend, no permanent friend, no permanent enemy but permanent interest, so where interest conflict, politicians split and realign with others who share similar interests irrespective of past fues, sadly in all these, the masses are secondary no one truly cares

Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@licha152547114 @Mubsyn Which table give U 3 points? the only table that matters in league football is the league table and the club position on that table, no one ever won the league or trophy with expect table and there is no such thing as expected table, that's noise and time wasting.

@AAUH20 @Mubsyn This is the performance result of united this season you know there is two tables now in 2026 due to data science - football metrics The normal table and expected table. The expected table shows you your performances the normal table just shows you how many game you won

You told us a manager with 7 wins in 29, 28 points in 29, should be given the chance to have a preseason and his own players, but you are drawing the line with a manager that has 9 wins in 13. I used to believe suicide bombers are enchanted until I met Amorimsexuals.

@KingFemi__ They have played better today at Villa Park than we did at OT vs Liverpool,no?. They arent defending like they are Leyton Orient, that's what coaches with cojones do. Yes,Carrick's gone for a result oriented footy but it is too defensive, imo.

What I like about what De Zerbi is doing at Tottenham, everyone knows De Zerbi with possession football but for now, he knows what’s needed to get Tottenham over the line, he first of all ditched the possession style for a result style. One thing Amorim don’t understand..

@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso Bro U running in ⭕, if the system succeeded we won't be here arguing about Maino's suppressed qualities and growth, we always get battered at the middle, it was pathetic such that the kid was constantly boverlooked as sub even when a midfielder is required on the pitch.

@RealNehis @YusufAsunmogejo @PeterObi @_ffen U may not be entirely wrong, but I think it's more of Atiku wanting a recap of 2019 presidential ticket(Atiku/Obi), as that might be a more realistic way to give the ruling party a run for their money, so if U ask me, this is quite different from Wike's 2023 drama.

@AAUH20 @YusufAsunmogejo @PeterObi @_ffen NO! Same person causing him to leave. The fact here is that based on events, it's clear the atiku's plan has been to corner Obi into a difficult position where he becomes stuck, left with no option than to support him. Planning to do Obi what he did to wike in the PDP primaries

@mr_Donking @OfficialSitso It's about sacrificing a good and promising young talent for a system which was clearly failing before everyone. Maino was by far not a finish product but he was already building his little career at the top level before Amorim came to ruined it with clear resentment towards him.

@OfficialSitso u can hate amorim for any reason but even if mainoo wins the ballon dor, he is still not starting in that amorim's two man midfield. he cant bench bruno in that position neither can u ask him to protect the midfield alone like what casemiro can give u.

@RealNehis @YusufAsunmogejo @PeterObi @_ffen Well base on the timing of this current defection and the last one from PDP to LP it's safe to say he can't compete for party ticket in highly competitive internal election, in all honesty Obi got his movements to ADC wrong, either he was deceived or he was ill advice.

@AAUH20 @YusufAsunmogejo @PeterObi @_ffen If he didn't go, everyone would say maybe atiku for support am. Now we know that he tried but atiku didn't. Obi is not afraid of the primary. His fear is, If atiku cannot honor a gentle man arrangement between North & South. How sure is it that he'll honor future arrangements.
