@Jam365 @PwettyDerek A team balancer is not SBMM. SBMM is the system that gathers the players into a lobby, hence the MM (Matchmaking). The team balancer then divides those players into teams. Without SBMM you will still get the worst players on your team if you're a good player. The rest is true tho

@PwettyDerek SBMM in general is fine. A strict SBMM system like COD/Apex, uses stats (KD) & force solo q players on the worst teams most of the time. Then when you do party up, you’re playing against stacked teams. You win a couple games in a row, your next match becomes impossible to win.

I genuinely never understood the want for no SBMM. It always seems like they just want easy wins, but id love to hear whatever the huge issue is with it on

That was just the gaming landscape at the time. DICE could copy BF4 movement 1:1 (without the bugs) and people would complain now

To be fair, the community was a lot smaller back then so news spread faster but still. Then when BF became more popular players using movement became overshadowed 1:1000 but they were still there

But of course you do still need to at least hit your shots so there's a small mechanical barrier (not a big one it's really not that hard). If you don't position well yes you'll get shit on by movement

@Smithers1994 @DooM49 It's OK bro. Time marches on and the ol' reflexes aren't what they used to be. But having positioning be the only skill makes for a very low skill ceiling game. Positioning is still the most important skill in BF6 by a mile. It's just not the only one. You just can't see it.

@DooM49 This kind of movement is stupid. Negates all gun skill in the name of gimmicky gameplay. If you cannot win a straight up gun fight using strategic angles then you have the skill issue because you can only win fights with exploitive movement

What I want from this Call of Duty: - No SBMM - A commitment to NO Over the Top skins - Full DMZ 2.0 Support - Persistent Lobbies - No Omni-Movement, crackhead BS - Better Campaign than the last few. My god. I like COD, but I’m burned out of the yearly cycle of games.

@Quysi_ @Rehsto @EndersFPS It depends on the player. Most players aren't good enough for it to be that big of a deal I think. It matters much more at the higher end. Like when going from 1 KPM 1 K/D to 2 KPM 2K/D you're just nowhere near the skill ceiling at that point.

Makes it too easy to beam people from a distance due to very low base and moving spread. It's why you see good players saying BF6 gunplay is boring and low skill. It's just too easy.
