@bebsunderscore @EndersFPS @Morfo_metalhead Spread is a randomness penalty for shooting improperly. It soft forces you to burst without actually forcing you to burst. It's only random if you let it get random at which point that's just on you.
English

@EndersFPS @Morfo_metalhead I think spread is shitty mechanic, just induces randomness, I would much prefer that they nerf damage at range
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 I would love to hear it. I am going to bayonet charge you IRL if you say some stupid shit like 'aim better'. How do you outplay an enemy sitting on a rock above you while you run uphill to an objective?
English

@AAWatcher @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 There are other, better, more grounded ways to outplay a worse shooter w a better position in BF1, rather than crackhead movement that only adderall riddled zoomers find appealing.
English

New #Battlefield Update thoughts
Map is good
Slide & acceleration nerfs REVERTED
Hitreg / netcode is the same
Audio is slightly better
Violet laser is a bad addition to the game that piles onto the exisiting issue of guns being too beamy. For 10 points you get better accuracy + more points for recoil attachments.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 BF1 as a package just had aura. The game was well put together and the gameplay, while being far from perfect, was quite solid. Then they gimped the movement in such a way that only the casual players can still enjoy it, which is why it's still so beloved.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 Then they nerfed the slide into the ground and left us with nothing to replace it. At that point it became the BF game with the least movement in the entire franchise and it ruined high level gameplay by making the game too shallow to be interesting for better players.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 You don't like movement? Hey, that's fine. You like what you like. But the effects of a lack of movement have been widely discussed already by players that are better than both of us combined. You cannot simply remove movement without adding something else to outplay enemies with
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 It's a thing that has been in every single BF game to date going all the way back to BF2 with the only exceptions being BC and BC2 (which were mainly console focused and BC never even released on PC) and BF1. You can outplay enemies with movement in every other BF game.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 This isn't to say there shouldn't be a disadvantage to being in a worse position. Positioning should always matter, but it shouldn't be the only skill that really matters, as is the case in BF1.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 Again, when moving between objectives you will find yourself getting in situations where enemies are just simply in a better position. This leads to unavoidable, frustrating deaths. All you can really do is simply aim better, but the aim barrier isn't that high in the first place
English

@calen81548 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 BF4's base jump peek (so when (Z/V/R/Etc.)ouZou requirements aren't met is still extremely powerful. The ability to jump peek or use other movement mechanics in game has been a thing for over 20 years at this point. So no, not only in BF4 when exploiting bugs.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 When you see good players hating on BF1 this is why. The game is incredibly skill capped. This in turn worsens steam rolls as your positioning becomes more and more limited the further you get pushed back (which you lack the ability to outplay with movement).
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 This dumbing down of the game in turn removed the ability for better players to express their skill as the game became extremely 2 dimensional. There's a reason basically all high skill players stopped playing BF1. The game is so boring once you reach that that level.
English

@NPlafcanx3 @EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 The gameplay is as shallow as a puddle. There's nothing of substance if you're a high skill player which makes the game really boring very quickly.
English

@EndersFPS @DaleJansse77267 I play it to this very day, hardly rose-tinted.
Its the most immsersive and fun battlefield from its release date until now. They have yet to top it.

by the way my intent is not to promote hate towards skiesti but simply to defend myself against several false accusations

Because I reported you and beaver on my stream you are using your platform to tell others that I harass you daily for years, constantly throw your games, and compare my actions to the Rupal incident ?? x.com/skiesti_/statu…
English

@LibRightOpinion @EpicBronyGaming If you're the one doing the movement that doesn't suddenly fix your hitreg. Your shots will magically disappear just as much as the people shooting at you, made even worse by the penalties applied by the movement. Movement isn't strong enough to beat good positioning.
English

@AAWatcher @EpicBronyGaming My problem is that a game design should really not be predicated on perfect hitreg to remain competitive.
That's what this type of playstyle does with it. You either exploit it like they do or you have to deal with the consequences and that isn't fun.
English

@LibRightOpinion @EpicBronyGaming This would be true if it wasn't such a known issue in the community back then. Again, ask anyone that played back then. Ask them about servers banning dolphin diving. It was quite prevalent. It was a smaller community so word spread fast.
English

@AAWatcher @EpicBronyGaming You're acting like that was the prevailing method of victory back then. It wasn't what even 10% of the fanbase did, and it was still nowhere near as absurd as it is today. Call it "skill issue" or something all you want, but you're making a Post-2020 Argument at this point.

English

@LibRightOpinion @EpicBronyGaming You know what, that's fair. Sometimes your shots just don't connect and there's nothing you can really do, but that's a netcode problem, not a movement problem.
English

@AAWatcher @EpicBronyGaming Sure. Whatever. It's not like people haven't discussed how the net code isn't optimal in this game.
English

@LibRightOpinion @EpicBronyGaming If you don't shoot and kill him that's entirely on you. TTK is insanely fast in BF6. It doesn't take many bullets. Worry more about your aim and what you're doing than what others are doing. It's up to you to punish these players. If you don't they'll do what they want.
English

@AAWatcher @EpicBronyGaming I have seen with my own two eyes, a mf slide and run around a whole floor plan of a building just to "Nope" away from a firefight.
Keep talking, but I'm just calling bullshit.
