I’m a project manager, I help businesses turn ideas into structured plans, set realistic timelines, align teams, manage risks & accountability without constant supervision. I communicate clearly, anticipate problems, control costs and schedules. I deliver outcomes, not excuses.

Be honest, it’s not worth it. She claims it’s a period kit for girls aged 9 years and above, but a teenage girl cannot afford it. Do I need to read this book every time I buy pads? The book is not necessary. Do I need the box? Do I need the shredded paper? Do I need the plant based wipes? If the unnecessary items are removed, then it will be more affordable.

Let’s not lie, this mercy Johnson’s period care box is worth 25k

Last year I was crying cause I felt like none of my prayers were being heard. It was just trial after trial. If I had to tell you how much life has changed these past 5 months, you wouldn’t believe me and I thank God everyday 🥺❤️

One thing interviews reveal quickly is this: Knowing how to participate in a process is different from understanding how to manage a project end-to-end. If you are looking to get interviewed for a project manager role, always prepare 2–3 solid real-life project examples before an interview. Be clear about your role, ownership, stakeholders, timelines, and measurable results and learn basic project management terminology before applying for PM roles.

During a Project Manager interview today, I asked a candidate to walk me through a project he handled from ideation to completion. He started explaining how his company needed to fill the role of marketers, how he shortlisted candidates, conducted interviews, and eventually hired the right persons. I paused and asked him...

Koreans are always shocked when I explain Nigerian weddings. I can vividly remember how shocked I was too after attending my first Korean wedding. Because what do you mean by there’s no after party??? Trying to describe a Nigerian wedding to a Korean is so funny because Korean weddings are usually much shorter, quieter, and more structured. Many Korean weddings also happen in wedding halls but multiple couples are literally getting married in different halls of the same building on the same day. The ceremony can finish in about an hour, people greet the couple, eat buffet food, take pictures, and leave respectfully. Then I start explaining Nigerian weddings 😫 I tell them Nigerian weddings can last almost the entire day. Hundreds of people show up, sometimes even people the couple themselves may not fully know. There’s loud music, dancing, coordinated asoebi outfits everywhere, spraying money, multiple outfit changes, endless food, and enough energy to power an entire neighborhood. Koreans usually pause for a few seconds like, “…that sounds intense.” And honestly? Where’s the lie? 😭

Nobody talks about how hard it is to erase trauma. Your body stays alert even when you could be calm. You flinch at reactions and actions around you. You worry even when there’s nothing to worry about. Somehow your nervous system keeps reminding you that you’re not safe, even in the safest place. You replay past moments in your head and your body cringes like it’s happening now. You try to fight the thoughts by focusing on something else, but the moment you relax, everything comes back. And you’re back to square one, living every day in survival mode, hoping it ends soon.

I survived a kidnap attempt on my way to Lagos from Ibadan along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway — around Ajebo, Ogun State. At about 7:30pm, one of them suddenly jumped out from the bush carrying two heavy objects, trying to force my car to stop. He threw the first object directly in front of my car while I was negotiating a slight bend. I managed to swerve around it, then he threw the second one. Before the others could position themselves, I brushed the main guy that attacked with my car and sped off. Thankfully, I escaped alive, but my bonnet, bumper, headlamps, and fender were badly damaged. Omo… no be country una dey live ooo.

My mom looked me in the eyes and said: “If you disappeared tomorrow, no one would even notice.” Everyone laughed. I raised my hot dog and said: “Challenge accepted.” That night, I packed two suitcases, left my key on the counter, and moved three hours away. No note. No goodbye. For 29 years, I had organized every holiday, baked every birthday cake, scheduled every appointment, and solved everyone’s problems. For free. The first week, no one called. Exactly like my mom predicted. By week two, my brother had called 47 times because he couldn’t work the washing machine. My sister couldn’t renew her car registration. My dad missed his medication refills and ended up in urgent care. By month three, my mom hired a professional organizer for $200 a week to do what I’d done for free my entire adult life. She quit after two weeks. Meanwhile, I was living by a lake, taking pottery classes, and sleeping in for the first time in years. Then my mom finally called, sobbing. “We fell apart without you.” I listened quietly. Then said: “Challenge completed, Mom.” And hung up. Turns out people do notice when you disappear. They just never noticed when you were there doing everything.
