@OIGUSPS So, quick question. If the regional center in RIC, VA is meant to improve performance, why did my package that was checked into the facility in RIC, then get sent to Chesapeake, VA (80 miles east) when I live in Chester, VA (<20 miles south)? Now it’s even later than it was.

Our ML families do not need to be educated— they need guidance on how the US schools function so they know how we partner up to support children. I’m always guiding families on topics I know would differ from their country’s school systems’ & norms. #PD4uandMe

One of the best interventions for poor hallway behavior is having every staff member stand in the hall during transitions whilst narrating the expectations. Problem is… depending on the school… some will do it, some won’t. What’s the magical way to get everyone doing this?

@OrlyKlapholz Is it reliable & valid? If it’s an assessment for English literacy to assess an ML’s English literacy, is it doing that or is it assessing some hidden Americana content that the ML may not have had access to? I’m reminded of an EL “assessment” that was all about Babe the Blue Ox
