Grrm never called him "morally" Grey. He literally explains right after w words like unpredictable self centered and fickle. To him grey means we don't understand the true motivations of this character

Toph and kuvira are the only skilled people here nd toph wins. Zaheer and Amon are gifted not skilled, they can only surprise their opponent, but cannot recover from any disadvantage in this fight. Everybody saying Amon is stupid.
