Weight has remained steady this past week; but still losing inches around the waist with the fat to muscle percentage conversions. My metabolism has clearly slowed down from where it was at just two years ago, so time to be smarter around my overall diet

2 years ago today my sis in law and I ran our first 5k for a young girl with cancer in our community. We were planning on walking it because I just don’t run but when you see an 11 year old going through chemo running in her own 5k it kinda hits different. I told my sis in law we were gonna run too even if it killed us. I don’t remember our times because it was a long time but we finished in the top 100 out of 250 or so. Don’t remember that either. I have only ran one since and it was for her last year. Sadly she lost her battle shortly after the race. What an impact she had on our community at such a young age. 🥰

I remember watching this live & the level of concern by the winning fighter was there for all to see. It was an absolute eternity before the losing fighter was able to leave the octagon. The equivalent KO of a similar level of damage was Uriah Hall on Adam Cella; with a spinning hook kick. Hall seemed close to tears after his TUF KO.
