@Snazzylee2 Religion aside, in the olden days, it was our culture that prevented most people from getting pregnant out of wedlock.

Information and the right people can truly transform a person’s life. Sometimes, a single piece of valuable information shared by the right person is all it takes to go from zero to 💯 . The right connection can open doors, create opportunities, and positively impact every area of your life. A walking man will surely meet in success one day🤲🏻

There's a reason behind it. In those days, there wasn't a way to monitor who hunts what. If they had said don't hunt vultures, people would hunt and eat them anyways. So, they created fears around it to conserve vultures. They said "Ẹni pagúnnugún kìí kádún," which means whoever kills vulture will not last till the following year. Dear of death made people leave vultures alone. This was one of our forebearers way of practicing conservation of animals they see as important.

@arojinle1 @NESREANigeria Hmmm so the yoruba's adage was lying? "Eni pa igunugu(vulture) ki ka ojo"

DON “Tobechukwu” Ade 👑
I just heard a story and my body is shaking… A 13-year old boy in Maiduguri was selling sugarcane in a wheelbarrow for his father. Inside the scorching sun, he decided to push his wheelbarrow to a nearby tree for shade & for him to rest for a while. As he pushed his wheelbarrow tired, he mistakenly brushed the front of a parked car & the headlamp fell off. He looked around & couldn’t find the owner. His conscience didn’t let him walk away from the car. So he waited for the owner who happened to be praying in a nearby mosque. The owner finished his prayers & found this 13-year old boy and the damage he has done. He called the police and ordered the boy be put in prison. Recently, this 13-year old boy just got released from prison, after spending 47 years in prison, at the age of 60 years. At this point, I broke down in tears. He was literally moved from one prison to the other all over Nigeria in the course of this 47 years in prison. He only got released because a governor granted him pardon. May Nigeria never happen to you.
