On this day, 36th years ago, an F4 tornado ripped through Edmonton and area. My family lived in the Evergreen Mobile Home park. My Dad was at work and my Mother and I were in our mobile home. My mother has told me how it was so hot and humid leading up to the event. The park took a direct hit, but luckily, my mother and I were okay. She took a mattress and put it over top of us in the living room. Our trailer only had the skirting ripped off but the trailers directly beside us were completely gone. We were lucky. They closed off the entire mobile home park so my Dad couldn't get in to see if we were okay so him and my uncles almost got arrested trying to get around the barriers. This was long before cell phones, so it wasn't as easy to alert for tornadoes and check on loved ones after the fact. #blackfriday #tornado

@ABStormChaser I feel like he'll be an Oiler again someday. He deserved the change for sure. Nurse needs to be moved. It's time and I think they get it done this summer and pick up a goalie and hopefully a new coach and GM. Haha

I feel like he is getting the love he deserves where he is now. Sometimes you have to make an uncomfortable change to thrive. I just hope Pitsburg sees his potential and keeps him for another season. Honestly, Edmonton needs some better D and goaltending otherwise they are going to lose McDavid and end up in the same situation as all the other Canadian teams other than Montreal. Just my 2 cents.

@ABStormChaser I wanted Skinner to stay cause that dude is going to keep getting better, he needed a starter to take the pressure off. He was pushed into the role cause of the Campbell mess. Too soon but did so well. He deserved better.

@WarrenDean26 100%. Im actually a huge Skinner fan and have started watching him with Pitsburg but they needed someone better to win the cup. Ingram has been okay but Jarry was a terrible trade.

@ABStormChaser My bone of contention with it, is they didn't upgrade. Jarry and Ingram are just doing their jobs but they aren't elite, the Oilers need an elite goalie that can steal a game from time to time Everyone has to play perfect cause it's been so leaky for so long. Summer fix
