SEEDING STAKES IN TORONTO: The Toronto Raptors host the Miami Heat tonight (7:30pm/et, NBA League Pass) and Thursday (7pm/et, NBA League Pass) in two pivotal Eastern Conference matchups. The No. 6 Raptors lead the No. 10 Heat by two games, with seeds 7-9 sitting a half-game behind Toronto in the chase for a guaranteed playoff spot (top six). Miami needs a victory tonight to remain in contention for a top-six finish.

Raptors are using their 15th roster spot to sign guard Tyreke Key, who spent last couple years with the 905. Averaged 14.9 points/shot 40% from 3 this year. Means the 2-ways, Martin & Lawson, won’t have their contracts converted before the end of the season or be playoff eligible

@_cevapienjoyer @asoraks_ At the end of the day, we’ll see what this team does, but if they’re serious about next season they need to address a lot of things, not just one. We’ll see if they actually do anything this summer, but honestly, I’m not super optimistic😂😂😂

@ABT416 @asoraks_ They’re not gonna prioritize anything cause they think they’re doing a good job. We’ve had how many years to address the issues that have dragged on for multiple seasons (shooting/scoring, size, etc) and refuse to do anything about it. The egos are massive clearly

All this trade Scottie talk on the TL is funny. This team is going to be young for a long time. Game 78 and the same issues are still showing. Leaders MIA, young guys and the bench keeping them in it. The outlook was very optimistic early on from some Raptors fans..

@_cevapienjoyer @asoraks_ Yeah, we’ll see what management does this season in terms of retooling the roster and understanding the key elements of team construction. It’s not just one issue, it’s a bunch of things, and I’m not sure what they’ll even prioritize this summer, but we’ll see.
