Does your church need to shift from just supporting to sending missionaries? Jeff Bartz, lead pastor at Grace Baptist Church, talks about how ABWE's Send Sunday reinvigorated his church to mobilize people to be sent on mission. Send Sunday isn't an ordinary missions-focused Sunday service. It is a call for churches to engage in heartfelt prayer, like we see in Acts 13, to discern who the Holy Spirit would send to preach the gospel around the world. ABWE makes it easy for churches to participate in Send Sunday by offering sermon outlines, worship songs, prayer guides, videos, social graphics, and more! Join with dozens of other churches as they seek the Lord's will on who they should send to the nations. Find out more at abwe.org/sendsunday

In Thailand, lantern festivals light up the night sky. It is a beautiful tradition, filled with meaning and longing. Behind the beauty is a deeper reality. Many are searching for peace, forgiveness, and freedom, yet still do not know where true hope is found. The gospel offers something different. True light is not something we create or send upward. It is someone who came down to us. Jesus meets us in our brokenness and offers the hope that no ritual ever could. See how the light of Christ is reaching people in Thailand here: buff.ly/OLRaQ9C

"Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy?" —Isaiah 55:2 "Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst." —John 6:35 Pray with us for Muslims as Ramadan ends: abwe.org/blog/call-pray… #Ramadan2026 #prayforthenations #abwe

What if obedience to God wasn’t meant to feel heavy? For many people, the idea of following God’s commands can feel restrictive, like a loss of freedom. The world often sees God’s commands as limiting, but in reality, they are protective. True obedience does not start with striving. It starts with faith. When we understand what Christ has done for us, obedience becomes an overflow of that relationship, not a requirement to earn it. If you’ve ever wrestled with what obedience really means, read more here: buff.ly/e97W0Oo

Is the Trinity optional when it comes to missions? It might seem like a complex doctrine that can be set aside in order to make the gospel simpler or more accessible. But the truth is, the Trinity is not an extra layer added onto Christianity. It is at the very core of it. As we go to the nations, clarity matters. Faithfulness matters. The message we carry must reflect who God truly is. If you want to understand why the Trinity is essential to the mission, read more here:

Ramadan creates unique moments for meaningful conversations with Muslim friends and neighbors. Rather than approaching this season with hesitation, Christians can view it as an opportunity to show genuine love, hospitality, and gospel hope. This article explores four practical ways believers can build relationships, ask thoughtful questions, and share the truth of Christ with grace: buff.ly/c7uLAuq

What does it mean for God’s love to be perfected in us? In this reflection on 1 John, we are reminded that the love of God is not only something we receive but something that shapes how we live. As believers walk in obedience and truth, God’s love becomes visible through lives that reflect Christ to the world. Read the article to consider how obedience, assurance, and love work together in the life of a follower of Jesus: buff.ly/tZzqoLr

Thailand is home to more than beautiful landscapes, and it is also home to millions who have never heard the gospel. Through faithful presence, gospel proclamation, and long-term discipleship, missionaries continue to bring the light of Christ into places where hope has yet to take root. In a country of over 70 million people, the vast majority have never truly heard the gospel. Many identify with Buddhism as part of their culture, and for those who choose to follow Jesus, it can come with real social pressure and sacrifice. Yet God is moving. Lives are being changed and local believers are rising up to share Christ in their own communities. But the need is still great. This is why we’re stepping into something bigger. 🙏 Will you be part of what God is doing in Thailand? Take your first step now: buff.ly/6e9r8Rf

"We had another bad attack last night. My building was shaking repeatedly as I sheltered in my hallway (again). One of my fellow teachers had his windows blown out when the neighboring apartment took a direct drone hit. . . . So many things in life can get stripped away (and much of it has), but we still have Him! We have everything if we have Him. Even if our lives are snuffed out by evil people, we will still have Him. I was asked a penetrating question once, and it has stuck with me ever since. Would you want to go to heaven if Jesus wasn’t there? . . .I think about it more these days. . . .Hard times highlight what we truly value and on what things we turn to for strength. Would you want to go to heaven if Jesus wasn’t there?
If you have Jesus, nothing can really touch you. I thought I might meet Him last night. I’m still here, but the truth stands that to have Jesus is to have everything. I can lay down in the hallway at night with the house shaking and put my head on my pillow, because I know that He holds me in His hands and all my days are already numbered in His book. In answer to the earlier question, I wouldn’t want to go to heaven if Jesus weren’t there, because that’s what makes heaven heaven." —Kristin J., ABWE missionary in Kyiv, Ukraine Please keep praying with us for Ukraine, especially through the winter months. Earlier this week, three children from a village where our South Asian partners and the Live Global Orphan Care team serve were reported missing. The situation quickly raised fears of human trafficking as local partners, families, and authorities began searching and praying for their safe return. By God’s grace, the children were found near the border before they could be taken across. Police stopped the traffickers and discovered the children, including a young boy who had been hidden and sedated to keep him from making noise. The traffickers are now in custody, and the children are safely in protective care as their parents prepare to receive them. Our partners believe this rescue is a direct answer to prayer as believers mobilized quickly and authorities across multiple border checkpoints were alerted. Please continue to pray for these children, their families, and for protection over vulnerable communities where trafficking remains a constant threat. In this article, we consider how Scripture shapes our understanding of love, responsibility, and priority in international missions. A biblical view of love helps us think carefully about how we serve both those near to us and those far from the gospel.
