This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Woodlands County has updated the evacuation order due to a wildfire. This is alert now in effect for everyone south of Highway 43, between West Ridge subdivision (Range Road 114), east to and including Range Road 113A in Woodlands County. There is a wildfire being held south of Highway 43, near Range Road 114. Everyone in the impacted area must remain evacuated. Residents in Zone 3 can now re-enter. This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Clearwater County has updated a wildfire alert. This alert is in effect for southwest Clearwater County, near Highway 734, just north of the junction with highway 584, updated to include properties west of Range Road 80, and north of the James River. There is an out of control wildfire near highway 734, about 3 km northwest of the highway 584 junction in southwest Clearwater County. All campers, traffic and anyone in the backcountry that is within 10 km of highway 734, near the highway 584 junction should leave the area immediately. Residents in the area must prepare for a possible evacuation. There is no mandatory evacuation for residents at this time. Everyone must avoid the area so wildfire crews can action this fire. This alert is in effect for southwest Clearwater County, near Highway 734, just north of the junction with highway 584. There is an out of control wildfire near highway 734, about 3 km northwest of the highway 584 junction in southwest Clearwater County. All campers, traffic and anyone in the backcountry that is within 10 km of highway 734, near the highway 584 junction should leave the area immediately.
