I love that the Bible doesn’t hide the failures of those who were used in mighty ways.

the older you get the more you understand that community rooted in faith is not optional. you need people who will pray with you, speak truth in love, hold no bitterness toward your blessings, celebrate you genuinely, and call you higher.

Can we talk about when God randomly changes your desires? You wake up one day and suddenly you lose your taste for all the things you used to do, say, wear, and even the people you used to be around. You want something different, something better, and you think something’s wrong the whole time. Meanwhile, He’s just growing you, maturing you, and shaping you into who He wants you to be. It’s the wilderness season, but it prepares you for the Promised Land.

Walking with Christ rewires your mind . It’s hard to explain …but impossible to ignore. You start noticing God everywhere. Scripture pops into your head.
Convictions mid-conversation.
Random gratitude. It’s like the Holy Spirit keeps leaving sticky notes in your mind.📝

Have we observed that in Scripture, whenever sexual intercourse between a husband and wife is mentioned, the language used is “he knew his wife”? For example, in Genesis 4:1, it says, “And Adam knew Eve his wife.” That wording is intentional. God did not describe sex as mere activity. He described it as knowing. The use of “knew” shows that sex is the height of intimacy in marriage. It is not just physical contact. It is deep experiential knowledge. It is vulnerability. It is oneness. It is covenant expressed physically. That is why in Genesis 2:24, Scripture says the two shall become one flesh. Sex is the physical expression of that one flesh reality. It was never designed to be casual. It was designed to be covenantal. Throughout Scripture, covenant is serious and often associated with blood, as seen in Exodus 24:8. In the same way, sexual union carries weight. It joins two people in a way that is spiritual, emotional, and physical. In some cases, blood may be involved during a woman’s first sexual experience. While this is not universal, it can serve as a reminder that sex is not a trivial act. It involves vulnerability, intimacy, and something deeply personal. Now imagine giving that level of intimacy to just anyone. Imagine creating that kind of one flesh bond outside the safety of covenant. Sex was never designed to be casual. It carries spiritual, emotional, and physical weight. SAY NO TO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE.

He does it to reveal YOU to you. It’s more effective for him to show you your weaknesses than to tell you, because sometimes, you won’t believe him. Peter didn’t believe he was going to betray Jesus until he was presented with a testing situation.

Lord correct me when I am the problem and protect me when I am not.

I hear ppl say the playoff is the problem. To me it’s the new years 6 bowl games being used as playoff games that’s the issue. Bowl games and playoff games should have different feels to them. The Rose Bowl & Sugar Bowl could still have pageantry without the playoffs involved.

Some of us finally understand….who wants to be bothered with us and who don’t. The proof is in the pudding. We don’t want to be chased, we just want to know we can pursue without regretting it. So if it’s not clear that there’s some interest off top..MUTUALLY…then nah we good.
