Moncton Wildcats owner Robert K. Irving has passed away at 71. “The Canadian Hockey League is deeply saddened by the passing of Robert K. Irving, owner of the Moncton Wildcats and a respected leader whose impact on junior hockey, the QMJHL, and the Moncton community was profound.” The CHL said in a statement.

If the organizers (@NHL @NHLPA ) of the tournament value human life more than the competition-quality of the teams in the tournament, then Russian citizens are not allowed to participate. It would mean prolonging Russia's imperialist war and would cost a lot of human lives.

@hasek_dominik @NHL I fully understand your point on Russia and that they should not compete. I am wondering if you believe that the USA also should not be allowed to compete? Because for me allowing one but not the other is just hypocritical. In my opinion both should be banned though.
