Y4 spent the day with @IpswichMuseums learning how to curate objects to tell their story. They have now proudly displayed their labelled items in our Sidegate Museum! Y4 children will teach other children how to curate on our Arts Festival day! @ActiveLearningT @SidegatePrimary

What a fantastic morning with Zoe from @STEMLearningUK. The children took part in a digestion activity involving bread and bananas and passed it through the oesophagus, stomach and intestines represented by a cardboard tube, a sandwich bag and a pair of tights! @ActiveLearningT

Fantastic day today taking the Roman Soldier Experience to @SidegatePrimary in #Ipswich. Titus put 3 classes through their paces via the high-tempo Roman Army session. He even got to ensure year 5 got involved at lunchtime. Playground looked like this when he left.

Can't find the OP to give credit where it's due, but the whole 'Poetry Register' idea has been an instant hit with my Year 4s. Thanks!! 👌 For those who haven't tried it, just chop up a poem and allocate the lines to the class in register order. They then recite their line..
