Sad news, but not uncommon. As @PrivateLumley reminded us last night. In recent years, @ACC_Cumbria & Windermere CC have opted to ‘fold’ 1st XI’s rather than 2nd XI’s due to player/competitive reasons. Not sure how scenarios like this can be avoided, unfortunately. Thoughts?
