@BluegrassRabbi That is not a current employee of the ACLU of Kentucky. We opposed the bill last year, we oppose it this year, and we will oppose it next year, too. It is inaccurate for you, or anyone, to testify in a committee hearing that the ACLU doesn't oppose the bill. We do. Period.

The jail deaths crisis at LMDC continues to shatter families. Last night we stood with Shawna Hughes's son at a vigil that was held in her honor a week after she died in the facility. We will continue our work to end deaths at LMDC. An arrest should not mean a death sentence.
