the nintendo music app thing is personally charged for me, not only cause im a game composer, but also because i’ve poured thousands of hours into maintaining a fully tagged and credited vgm library that is organized EXACTLY how they’re aiming for. been doing this for 20 years

I arrange for a cappella groups and record learning tracks, and sometimes I'll add in an isolated vocal from the original song if I can find one

Just had a strange experience where I finished an SATB arrangement for a high school group, only to realize that I'd arranged the exact same song six years ago in SSAA and completely forgotten about it
